Skype On IPhone

Here’s a good news for Iphone owners across the world. Now it’s Apple’s turn, Skype’s compatible version already exists for Windows Mobile and Google’s mobile technology Android. Don’t worry Blackberry users as you will also get this software on your device very soon. Skype has decided to launch their Iphone compatible version. Now you can enjoy the cheap calling rates on your IPhone. Skype grew with a small VOIP application to a calling technology. It uses VOIP protocol which allows one skype user to call other free of cost, like today’s messengers do. They also introduced the landline calling facility in their service long back which has some charges which depends from the country to country. Very soon all the Nokia mobile will have skype as a built in application as last month they have signed a deal at Mobile World conference 2009.

This application is not only for Iphone users, even Ipod touch users can make use of this service connecting their headsets and mic. Skype has officially confirmed that they will release this application for Apple on Tuesday in a a press conference at the CTIA Wireless 2009 Trade show in Las Vegas.
